So good, even my husband drinks it

This is the part I despise most about recipes found in blog posts.

They usually start with some lengthy ironic story of how a simple Sunday stroll through the local farmers market to grab their favorite organic produce suddenly transformed their lives as they knew them into becoming enlightened super-humans who have their entire lives figured out and now, wake up at 4am, spend 6 hours at the gym and still manage to run a successful enough Hamster Training business to own a multi-million dollar home in California. I don’t have that kind of energy, probably because I didn’t make my green juice today.
I find the flavor of this juice to be reminiscent of almost ripened Kiwi Fruit. The optional Chia Seeds add a little crunch!
To make this healthy and surprisingly tasty beverage, you will need:
1 Inch of Ginger
1 Handful of Parsley
1 Handful of Kale
1 Green Apple (Quartered)
1 Lemon (Peeled)
1/2 of a Cucumber
2 Stalks of Celery
Optional to Add to Fresh Juice:
1-2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
Unflavored Protein Powder
Place the ingredients in your juicer, alternating the leafy ingredients with the other fruits and vegetables. Pour over Chai Seeds and Ice. Let stand 5 minutes to allow Chia Seeds to absorb liquid. Enjoy like a badass who just made a freaking green juice at home.
