Be warned… this is my very first podcast interview.

There. I warned you.

I spent my Sunday morning practicing yoga online with one of my favorite musical artists and yoga teachers, MC Yogi, out of Point Reyes, California. His teaching style and verbiage always invite me to jump on that intergalactic yoga train and choo, choo, choose my own adventure through breath and serious psychedelic movements. His groovy playlists and sweet soulful teachings are just what I need to remember a trip to the moon is only a yoga class away. If I haven’t peaked your interest yet, check him out here.

Long story short, it was the perfect intro for meeting Cameron on his podcast as we dove into the magical mystical world of yoga.

Mind Matter Podcast #9

Cameron Rikko Willett, creator and host of Mind Matter Podcast, reached out in hopes of answering a few fun (yet challenging) yoga questions from his listeners….

  • Who can practice yoga?
  • Is yoga considered a religion?
  • What are the meanings of the Sanskrit words “Namaste” and “Aum”?
  • How do you keep your practice going when it feels stale?
  • Do aliens exist?

Cameron Rikko Willett

“Mind Matter is a show about finding peace and healing. We dive into today’s biggest hurdles and how we may find balance through diet, yoga, philosophy and healing. I am a former drug addict and alcoholic which lead me to prison and eventually deep depression. I was overweight, in bad health and after getting sober I became plant based. Shortly thereafter, I experienced a spinal injury which lead me to yoga, one of my biggest passions. I am not even close to a doctor, I am just a guy who’s experienced issues and found found a way to heal and let go.”
